Description
The infant Jesus is presented at the Temple by his parents, Mary and Joseph. Simeon and the prophetess Anna are present in admiration, and Anna looks right at the viewer as if to tell you herself about what is happening. The blue patterns of the prayer shawls are designed as the rays of light on the people, and the light emanating from Christ moves loosely in the shape of a menorah.
