Artist's Description
The infant Jesus is presented at the Temple by his parents, Mary and Joseph. Simeon and the prophetess Anna are present in admiration, and Anna looks right at the viewer as if to tell you herself about what is happening. The blue patterns of the prayer shawls are designed as the rays of light on the people, and the light emanating from Christ moves loosely in the shape of a menorah. About Jen Norton
Painfully shy as a child, Jen was unable to communicate with anyone outside her family except through drawing. Visual language was her first language and she never lost her passion for its ability to communicate for her. There was never a day she "decided" to become an artist. For Jen, there was just no other way to be. Jen Norton is a graduate of Santa Clara University where she earned a Bachelors degree in Fine Art, with a Minor in Business. Jen worked as a Graphic Designer in the Silicon Valley where developing marketing communications materials helped push her from purely personal expression to full conversation.
