Description
Father Junipero Serra founded 9 of the 21 California missions and is an important figure in California history, as well as a controversial one. He will be canonized in fall or 2015 and become the saint of Vocations. This is an acrylic on wood painting to illustrate his lifelong journey, both on foot and to evangelize native Californians.
