Artist's Description
This is an acrylic painting on paper featuring the verse from Romans 8: 16-17, which reads: "The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God and if children, then heirs. Heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ if only we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him." It is featured in my book, Surrender All, by Ave Maria Press.
About Jen Norton
Painfully shy as a child, Jen was unable to communicate with anyone outside her family except through drawing. Visual language was her first language and she never lost her passion for its ability to communicate for her. There was never a day she "decided" to become an artist. For Jen, there was just no other way to be. Jen Norton is a graduate of Santa Clara University where she earned a Bachelors degree in Fine Art, with a Minor in Business. Jen worked as a Graphic Designer in the Silicon Valley where developing marketing communications materials helped push her from purely personal expression to full conversation.
